STATEWIDE SAFETY PLANS

Seclusion/Restraint Plan

In order to comply with Indiana's Air Quality Laws for schools, we

ask that parents waiting in our pick-up line turn OFF their engines

if waiting for more than 5 minutes (we understand if, for safety

reasons, cars need to run in temperatures <20 or >90 degree F).

Please note that we also have a policy about brining live animals

into the building: Parents or guests who wish to introduce live

animals to the school must request advance permission from the

Principal. Animals must be kept on a leash, tether, enclosure, or

other securing device. Waste collection and disinfecting products

must be available in the vicinity of where the animal is shown. When

possible, due to allergenic concerns, fur-bearing animals should be

shown outside the building. Exceptions must receive approval.

Contact Ana Maria Lewis (principal) if you have any questions.
